About Me

I'm an information security analyst and researcher in Houston, TX.  I have two great kids and a wonderful wife who thinks I'm crazy for geeking-out on the computer all the time.  When I'm not geeking out  in front of the computer, I enjoy playng with the kids, going out to dinner with my wife (or even better going on vacation!), and watching football.

I have a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.  Over the years, I've earned quite a collection of certifications, including Microsoft's MSCE (NT4), Cisco's CCNP & CCDP, Check Point's CCSA (NGAI), Guidance Software's EnCE, ISC2's CISSP, and GIAC's GCFA, GAWN, GSNA, GCIH, GCIA, and GREM.
